Temperature sensitivity is common in Fabry disease. It presumably results from lipid deposition in small vessel walls, perineural cells, and unmyelinated or myelinated nerve cells resulting in small fiber neuropathy.^[1] Hypohydrosis and androsis may also contribute to heat intolerance.
